Common options
For quick-start usage, the most relevant options are:
| Option | What it controls | Suggested use |
|---|---|---|
| Filter shell output (via rtk) | Controls whether RTK command-output processing is enabled. | Recommended for most sessions. RTK processes and truncates common command output to greatly reduce token usage. It is still experimental; if a command times out, fails unexpectedly, or omits important output, turn it off and retry. |
| Language | Sets the language the AI should prefer when responding. | This is a text input. Enter a language name such as "Simplified Chinese" or "English". Axiomate adds this preference to the prompt so the AI tries to respond in that language. |
| Verbose output | Controls whether more detailed output is shown by default, especially visible thinking content. | Keep it off for daily use; enable it when thinking should stay visible or when troubleshooting. |
Most settings are saved to the user configuration and continue to apply in later sessions.
